Why?
I am 90 kilos and I was always dreaming of a real wave board for side shore “light” wind conditions. This year my dream came true, with FANATIC yes we can ! This board is so perfect, it is really light and has a nice custom finish. The volume distribution is totally balanced, with enough forward volume for early planing. This is what we need in Moulay to cross the waves full speed and still allows you big jumps. Easy to control in the air with also a clean landing, you don't feel like you are riding a 90 litre board. The top end speed is high for a wave board and you can easily go upwind.
It’s also a great board for wave riding in light to medium wind conditions which allows you a lot of speed on the bottom turns, great carving and powerful cutback on the top of the wave. The perfect down the line board for heavier rippers and light wind addicts! You should try it, you will love it!
Favourite Move: Lay Down Bottom Turn, roller vertical and powerful cut back
Best Wind: 13 - 23 knots
Ideal Sail: NEILPRYDE Alpha 5.8/5.4 and Combat 5.0
Trim Tips: Position the front straps inboard and the back straps the second hole plug starting from the back. I need my front straps maximum forward as I'm tall (1,90 m).
Mastfoot - middle box to 2/3 forward. The standard fin is just perfect for this board and the G10 is not afraid of rocks!
