Why? It’s a light and reactive board which planes early and has a good upwind performance. The wide sail range means that my wife and I can share the same board. In slalom freeride conditions the board is not too physical or technical but still fun and performs nicely. It guarantees smooth gybes as the shape is more forgiving than a pure slalom board. The board is great for both intermediate and advanced sailors, and it remains comfortable even in chops as it rides high on the water.
Favourite Move: Reverse Monkey Gybe
Best Wind: 13 - 25 knots
Ideal Sail: North Ice 5.7 and Duke 6.9
Trim Tips: I like my front straps on the outside and I have 2 straps at the back, but set in-board for more reactivity and a higher response when gibing.
