Please be advised that kitesurfing lessons are now held 1km upwind of the Big Blue Surf Center at a dedicated kitesurfing spot.

Free transfers are offered to and from the kite spot upon request and at any time in working hours for those guests with lessons and kite storage. The spot is ideal for kitesurfing, with a side-onshore and a sideshore riding area thanks to the shape of the coastline. It is also free of windsurfers.

We cannot prohibit private kitesurfers/storage guests from kiting in front of the center, although we strongly advise against this as it creates issues for the other centers, as well as for the windsurfers.

Private kiters can choose to kite in an area free of windsurfers downwind of the center, but owing to the shape of the coastline we cannot see the kiters once they are downwind (and close to the next privately owned windsurfing center), and therefore we cannot be responsible for rescues.
