The spot at Galion Bay is located in a natural reserve and protected bird habitat. The local authorities certainly try to keep the impact caused by humans to a minimum. Therefore, kitesurfing is not allowed in the Galion Bay at all.
The kitesurf tuition takes place in a very safe, neighbouring bay with flat, waist deep water. We bring our guests there by car in only 10 minutes.
Private, advanced kiters with own equipment can enjoy the spot in the lively Orient Bay. Here they happily share the grand bay with other water sports enthusiasts.
 
 

FBC St. Martin has engaged a new and very professional partner for kitesurf instruction. Mathieu Polit Jouan is very experienced and everybody appreciates his friendly and patient way of teaching. Kitesurf instruction can be held in English, French or Spanish language.  

Certificate/Licenses - FBC St. Martin is an FFVL affiliated center. They teach to international recognized standards and can issue official kite licenses.

Kite Equipment Boards & Kites – actual equipment from North Kiteboarding with kite sizes from  5.5 - 12.0m²

Kite Equipment Rental - due to logistic circumstances the center doesn't offer kite equipment rental at the moment.

Kitesurf Tuition – for the moment FBC St. Martin offers only private or semi-private kitesurf lessons. Lessons include kite equipmnet and transport to the kite spot.

A few years ago some lucky locals have discovered a perfect kitespot on the nearby island of Anguilla. FBC St. Martin now takes guests there for a fabulous day trip and an unforgettable kitesurf experience at this great freeride spot. Next to it is the infamous Bankie Bank restaurant with its’ reggae legend owner. The day is shared between long rides in crystal clear water, aperitifs and BBQ, reggae music and many more rides – a unique experience in paradise!
