FBC Fuerteventura is proud to offer windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing instruction by fully qualified team members. The equipment on offer, the conditions to be found and the transport available means that you will be taught in optimum learning conditions.

TEACHING CONDITIONS

FBC Fuerteventura is a spot more suited to intermediate and advanced level windsurfers and the combination of flat water/chop and waves forming on the outer reef means excellent conditions for learning those intermediate and advanced manoeuvres and building confidence in the waves. Beginners are taken to Cotillo for their lessons and practice where there is a protected double lagoon which is always super flat on the inside with very small chops on the outer lagoon. The water is clear and shallow (1m) and sandy bottom – a perfect learning environment.

The kiters zone at FBC Fuerte is situated upwind of the windsurfing zone. On the beach there is a very large area for kiters and also really nice learning conditions at the spot with the side shore wind. FBC Fuerte is an official IKO centre and teaches a very high standard. To ensure the best learning conditions, kite instruction is sometimes done from a boat with no more than 4 to one instructor

Surf instruction to the BSA standard (British Surfing Association) is offered, and again transport is arranged in order to take advantage of the best conditions available on any day.

LANGUAGES

Courses are held by an International Team of qualified instructors in English, German, French and Spanish.
