12|05|10 +++ FBC MOROCCO - WAVES FOR ALL ... AND ALL FOR WAVES!
Pro Coach Tom Brendt and Center Manager Bruno Erbani welcomed 13 eager windsurfers from Spain, Holland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium and Poland, for what can only be described as a brilliant week.
The goal of the Wave Special was to teach all about waves and wave riding, to get flat water windsurfers safely into the waves and make their first bottom turns and cutbacks, and the more wave experienced into the air and onto better waves for longer and more enjoyable rides … and once again this year, it was more than achieved!
The spot rocked throughout the entire week, with nice sets of waves rolling in on the first day for stand up paddling and surfing, then delivering more waves and stronger wind for the 4.7 and 4.2 sails on all of the following days. Ideal conditions to delight a fun group of motivated windsurfers that all flew home with a higher level, more confidence and an addiction for waves that will never go away!
The center as always offered the cream of the 2010 Fanatic range with all NewWave and NewWave Twin boards, along with high performance rigs. The Café Resto was once again the place to hang out on the top floor, with its infamous view over the spot - the ideal set up for video debriefing, snacks and drinks between sessions and the compulsory Moroccan Style couscous night. Other nights the town of Essaouira offered all its beauty and charms for a cultural and human adventure to add to the full power week of sport and fun.
More than a brilliant event, the Fanatic Pro Camp Wave Special at FBC Morocco is simply a classic not to be missed – see you in 2011 for even more waves!
